Trainers and senior lecturers at Haaga-Helia’s School of Professional Teacher education Sini Bask and David Mauffret discuss the themes of global citizenship and global citizenship education. These globally imperative perspectives are tightly intertwined with the Sustainability Development Goals (the SDGs) stated in the United Nations AGENDA 2023, and with the Inner Development goals (the IDGs ) co-created in the IDG community. David and Sini also describe their personal relationship as teacher trainers to these complex issues.

Los formadores docentes de la Escuela de Educación Profesional para Maestros de Haaga-Helia, Sini Bask y David Mauffret, discuten el tema de la ciudadanía global y la educación para la ciudadanía global. Estas perspectivas globalmente imperativas están estrechamente entrelazadas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (los ODS) establecidos en la AGENDA 2023 de la Unesco, y con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Interior (los ODI) cocreados en la comunidad ODI. David y Sini también describen su relación personal como formadores de maestros con estos complejos temas.

The BeGlobal – Become a Global Citizen through Global Competence and Internationalisation for Society project aims to foster internationalisation of higher education and active global citizenship in Colombia and Chile to improve the social cohesion of this region. The project aims to increase the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will contribute in long-term to develop active citizenship, and therefore, better future leaders capable of responding to the 21st political, social, economic and environmental challenges with a social and global responsibility approach.
