Digitisation is reshaping global development. It is unlocking unprecedented opportunities for innovation, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving. However, despite its benefits, there are still differences in how companies are able to harness these advantages and utilize their benefits.
Many of Europe’s largest companies have the ability to allocate vast resources towards development, while smaller businesses and startups face challenges in being able to divide their time and efforts into the many aspects of business development.
To bridge this gap, the European Commission has established European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), with the aim of supporting companies in their development needs. One of these initiatives, the Finnish AI Region FAIR, is leading the change in supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in AI adoption. FAIR helps SMEs in integrating AI into their products and services, fostering advancements in digital services, healthcare and technology.
FAIR provides personalized support through dedicated customer managers and specialists, who support companies by creating tailored needs analyses and connecting them with a wide range of resources. These include world-class AI expertise, advanced computing power provided by the LUMI supercomputer, and much more. This hands-on guidance helps the companies navigate their development journey and access timely and targeted services.
